Figures and Runs

Figures

The Figures section assembles outputs from completed runs into multi-panel layouts.

Plot library

Automatically populated when analysis runs complete. Available plot types depend on what you have run:

  • UMAP embedding
  • Volcano plot and DE gene table
  • Enrichment tree
  • Spatial map
  • Biomarker ranked genes and CV metrics

Canvas

Drag plots onto the canvas or click to add. Rearrange panels for publication layouts.

Export

Export PDF generates a letter-size PDF in the browser using the current canvas layout. SVG, PNG, and server-persisted figure versions are planned.

Limitations

Figure layout is stored in browser localStorage per study. Clearing site data removes unsaved layouts. Snapshots do not yet capture figure state.

Runs

The Runs section is the audit trail for the study.

Active / Completed / Failed

Filter runs by status. Expand a row to see full parameters, timing, result summary, and error details.

Snapshots

Create a snapshot to record which runs and parameters represent a frozen study state. Restore opens Analyze with those parameters for re-execution or comparison.

Snapshots store fingerprints of metadata, design, and contrasts. If the study changes, Analyze warns that the snapshot may be out of sync.

Stale outputs

When metadata, contrasts, or upstream runs change, downstream results are flagged stale. Each stale item links to the step that should be re-run.

Delete runs

You can delete completed or failed runs unless:

  • The run is still running
  • A snapshot references the run

Deleting a study from the dashboard removes all associated runs, snapshots, datasets, and uploaded files.
