Platform overview
Gradient Biotech is a multi-area scientific research workspace. It brings study management, reproducible compute pipelines, interactive result exploration, and analysis into one application shared across research domains.
How the platform is organized
Work is organized into research areas. Each area has its own data types, pipeline workflows, and analysis views, all sharing the same organization model, user accounts, and database.
| Area | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Computational Biology | Single-cell, bulk RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, biomarker discovery |
| Cardiology | Cardiovascular signal recordings, HRV analysis, cohort comparisons |
| Immunology | Immune annotation, TCR/BCR repertoire, cytokine signaling, disease cohorts, multi-modal profiling |
| Neurology | Brain connectivity, EEG, fMRI, graph metrics, and cohort network analysis |
| Oncology | Tumor cohorts, mutation landscapes, TME signaling, immuno-oncology, survival analysis |
| Pathology | Whole-slide imaging, tissue detection, cell segmentation, spatial quantification |
What is shared across areas
- Organizations and users — a single account and org model across all areas
- Reproducible pipelines — every job records its parameters, version, status, and output artifacts
- AI interpretation — summaries grounded in recorded analysis outputs, not generated claims
Navigation
Use the Research Areas menu in the top navigation bar to switch between areas. Each area has its own dashboard. Area-specific controls (studies, jobs, settings) appear in the navbar when that area is active.
